Special health notes for this Winter:

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE ILL! All spectators are expected to maintain safe distance between each other and eliminate physical touching through handshakes or hugs unless both parties agree! Arrive only when your daughter’s game is starting and depart as soon afterwards as possible. Six feet spacing in stands and by fence if you need to stand there. Masks on, please. You and any others in attendance MUST do the Health Survey before arriving each week.

Athletes must be aware of proper spacing on the field with the only time individuals get close to each other is ‘on the ball’ defense and that MUST be done using the right shoulder technique. Alter each game, it is expected that all athletes will sterilize their equipment before storing. You must provide your own wipes! On the sidelines, athletes must maintain safe distances from each other. De Shore will have extra wipes and antibacterial gel for your use and it is located at the back of the truck.

Hockey balls will go into a bleach solution and we’ll only use cleaned balls for a game. Do not touch a ball with a bare hand, use your gloved hand if you must pick up a ball. Make sure you clean your gloves after each day, wipe them down or wash them in a bleach solution (1/3 cup per gallon).

Players must be very aware of proper spacing on the field stay six feet apart at all times except in that brief moment of playing the ball.

Second special note: penalty corner masks are numbered and athletes use the same numbered mask per half. All masks are wiped at halftime of each game.

As per state and my previous messages: remember that Dan Smith is our safety and hygiene manager and he is assisted by Heather Moore and Connie Wilson.
