The festival is over Thanksgiving week 2009 (11/24-11/28)
The Disney showcase is usually the first full weekend of February
DE Shore will enter a U19 and a U16 (based on age in 2010) at Disney
A member of these teams will commit to practices beginning in September 2009 (missed practices will result in less playing time at the events). The team members will also commit to playing on our indoor travel teams for 2009-2010.
A team of selectors will pick teams with 4 attack, 5 midfielders, 4 defense, and 1 GK and at most 2 utility athletes (who agree to play all positions).
Athletes must indicate their position when registering.
Note in a survey of college coaches: they do not care what position the athlete plays but only how they handle situations, work with teammates, dominate space, and see the field.
